The Harlequin Indoor Friendly is one of our most popular annual events, bringing together archers from across the region for a relaxed and enjoyable day of indoor competition. Unlike our record status tournaments, this friendly shoot focuses on providing a welcoming atmosphere where archers of all abilities can test their skills, meet fellow competitors and enjoy the social side of the sport.

The tournament is particularly popular with newer archers looking to experience their first competition. With a supportive environment and a straightforward Portsmouth round format, it offers an excellent introduction to tournament shooting without the pressure often associated with larger competitive events. Whether you're aiming for a personal best, preparing for the indoor season or simply looking for a fun day of archery, you'll find a warm welcome at the Harlequin Indoor Friendly.

Archers shoot a Portsmouth round consisting of 5 dozen arrows at 20 yards on a 60cm target face, with vertical 3-spot faces available on request. The event is typically run across three sessions throughout the day, allowing as many archers as possible to take part. Double and triple rounds are welcomed and may be accommodated where space allows, with priority given to archers entering a single round.
